Patches metamorphosed into this band with Steve, a player from outside Birmingham and of limited musical ability. We did actually perform at (possibly) an air-base in Anglesey. The set was deficient in material and we ended up playing "Lola" by the Kinks at least twice. Steve arranged a gig at the MAC for a price that was unacceptable to Alan and I and we sacked him. Severe acrimony ensued as he and I lived in the same block of flats.
