WFC RIFLE COMPETITION PROGRAM - 2008
The Rifle Section has two main strands to its shooting - SRA (Service Rifle 'A')
competitions are restricted to iron-sighted service rifles with original military issue
sights - SRB (Service Rifle 'B' or Target Rifle) competitions are shot with iron-sighted target rifles.
The Club Rifle Championship is usually decided upon the two SRA and four SRB competition scores.
Additionally, a number of other competitions are shot with service, .22 and black
powder rifles. The program is flexible - some competitions are rotated in and out
of the program year on year and new disciplines are introduced in line with range
availability.
